Sikhs in Clinical Research (SICR) is a grassroots initiative committed to building trust, improving health literacy, and increasing awareness of clinical research opportunities. Our programs focus on culturally tailored education, community engagement, basic health screenings, and patient navigation.
In the past few years, we have hosted over 35 guest speakers on research, diversity, career paths, and community health; organized around 50+ on-the-ground Clinical Research Awareness Events (self and sponsored) across 15+ states; reached 7,000+ attendees; distributed more than 7,500 educational resources; generated 50+ video testimonials; and maintained 2,000+ newsletter subscribers.
